Minimum score required for Federal Skilled Worker Program

  The Federal Skilled Worker Program is one of the three programs managed by the globally-renowned Express Entry System. The Federal Skilled Worker Program allows immigrants with relevant work experience and no connection to Canada – to apply for permanent residency.  Just as every other program under the Express Entry, the FSWP also uses a point-based system to select eligible candidates. But, unlike the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), candidates applying for permanent residency under the FSWP are not mandated to have Canadian work experience in order to enter the Express Entry pool. Instead, candidates are just required to have a qualifying score in the CRS points calculator.  Scores in the CRS points calculator are assigned based on factors such as Age, Education, Work Experience, Language Proficiency, Provincial Nomination, Adaptability, and so on.
