  According to the most recent statistics, job growth is increasing nationwide, with Saskatchewan performing particularly well among Canadian provinces that offer high demand jobs in Canada.  High demand jobs in Saskatchewan saw the greatest month-over-month job growth rate among Canadian provinces.  There were roughly 6,000 high demand jobs in Saskatchewan  in December 2021, a rise of 1.1% over the previous month. The most substantial growth was seen in the professional, scientific, and technical services sector, and advances in full-time employment, mainly among men aged 25 to 54, were also highlighted.  In the census metropolitan regions of Saskatoon and Regina, the unemployment rate in Saskatchewan was 5.4%, reaching pre-pandemic levels. Saskatchewan Occupation in-demand: How to Apply?

  Managed under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), the Saskatchewan Occupation in-demand stream is designed for international workers that can meet labor market shortages across high demand jobs in Saskatchewan.  Candidates with relevant academic and employment experience in such high demand jobs in Saskatchewan – and a qualifying score in the SINP’s point assessment grid – are eligible to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) under this stream.  Candidates that meet the eligibility criteria and prerequisites – are nominated under the Saskatchewan Occupation in-demand stream.
